Ramseyer Training Centre (R.T.C.) has a long-standing commitment to equipping individuals with practical skills and values through hands-on, faith-based vocational training. As an institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, R.T.C. strives to empower trainees with the skills they need to become self-sufficient and active contributors to their communities. With the approval of a new set of curricula in 2019, we are building a future-ready Centre dedicated to high standards of education, mentorship, and personal growth.
To bring this vision to life, however, we face an immediate need: adequate housing for our faculty. Currently, our Centre requires eight (8) full-time tutors to meet program demands, but we can only house four (4). This shortage strains both our resources and our tutors, as they juggle additional teaching responsibilities alongside their management and administrative roles. Finding suitable housing within the community has proven challenging, and relying on adjunct faculty has doubled our operational costs.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
To address this need, we are launching the Faculty Accommodation Project, a four-storey building designed to house our faculty team. The project will include eight (8) flats, each featuring:
Three (3) bedrooms
A private study space
Comfortable living and functional areas

This accommodation will allow tutors to reside on campus, fostering a supportive environment for students and ensuring that faculty can provide the close mentorship trainees need for their growth and development.

With adequate on-site accommodation, we can attract and retain qualified tutors, reduce operational costs, and offer trainees the consistent, hands-on mentorship essential to their success.
